Sweet Sprinkles Collection: Time to Celebrate

The Sweet Sprinkles Collection may seem like a strange color selection for Christmas time. But the bright pops of color in the yarn make me think of celebrating. As a matter of fact, when I first saw this Red Heart yarn in stores it reminded me of Pillsbury Funfetti cake mix. I had to buy a box with its corresponding frosting that same day. 

Something about the yarn speaks to joy and togetherness. It addresses our need for thankfulness and acknowledgement of accomplishments. I don’t know how else to describe the feeling other than it gives the sense of merriment. It’s like sprinkles on a batch of birthday cupcakes and confetti raining down on New Year’s Eve. It is a symbol of every reason to throw a party. 

For me, Christmas is the perfect celebration.  As a Christian, I celebrate the birth of Christ, by gathering with my family and friends to exchange gifts, remember, and believe. A time filled with laughter and love and peace. 

You don’t have to share my faith to appreciate the beauty of festive gatherings. Following the pandemic, as we slowly emerged and returned to life outside lockdown, I felt the need for coming together over meals for any reason. I needed connection to other people. Maybe you felt the same way. 

And so, I am happy to share this collection with you. Maybe there is a new baby in your life to celebrate through the Sweet Sprinkles Collection.
